Sitting down and engaging your brain for several hours to produce a coherent written document is an essential job skill for white collar work. It's also a skill that you can only develop via repetition. If you're paying thousands and wasting years for nothing in return, it's not exactly genius.
I force students to do take-home essays in Google Docs so I can review their keystrokes and see if they're pasting in blocks of text from an LLM. Recently, I've been finding students literally spending hours to just transcribe an LLM output. Gotta respect that commitment to remain ignorant.
Chuds when they hear "Para Español, oprima el número dos."
Here's the teams I'm rooting for in order of how much I want them to win:
1. 🇧🇦 (non Croatia, ex YU team)
2. 🇺🇸 (contractually obligated, plus would be funny)
3. 🇲🇽 (closest to a California national squad)
4. 🇧🇷 (lived there, am a BR Otaku)
5. Any team of the Americas that's still in it after 🇧🇷.
I can buy a battery for ~$3,000 to offset monthly costs of $60. Not even counting install, taxes, etc. I'm not breaking even for about four years. I'm betting there will be a cheaper alternative in that time frame which is why I'm holding out.
Would be cool if I could get a sick Chinese home battery one of these days though.
Don't know how to feel about San Antonio vs New York. San Antonio is the more California-coded city, but I like Mamdani. Sadly, there are no ex-Yugoslavs on either team to break the tie.
