Amazingly the Hegseth-picked press isn’t asking him tough questions in an attempt to hold his feet to the fire, hold power accountable, and inform the public. They’re asking these basic questions because they assume Hegseth knows what he’s doing, is succeeding, and will therefore have good answers.

“Go get your own oil!”
Continue to be amazed that Hegseth's hand-picked press corps asks basic, tough questions about the war (that he can't answer). We are so far beyond "you know this war is bad because John Bolton is against it."
