I've believed for 15-20 yrs that as our herd immunity to fascism has disappeared due to death of those who experienced the previous outbreak, we are set for a booster shot. Hope history repeats as a farce.
I'm taking a news and social media break for about two weeks. I've done this each year around this time since 2020, and it's been good for my mental health. I’ve been so focused on Iran I missed the US saying a few days ago that it’s halting Russia-Ukraine peace talks.
Those were always a farce, with Team Trump pretending to want peace while transparently trying to help Russia win.
Can’t help but notice this comes as Ukraine has improved its position.
