How hard is it to understand they are compromised and they got leaned on.
Can we please stop rationalizing trump voters as not informed/ unsophisticated? They were fully informed and realized the ramifications of electing him. They were fully on board w the racism that has permeated their lives and to some extent afforded privilege to their lives simply for being White.
trump didn't tap into stupid he tapped into the underlying foundational racism in White Americans. If we keep avoiding stating the obvious we will have more trumps after he is gone.
