Can we please stop rationalizing trump voters as not informed/ unsophisticated? They were fully informed and realized the ramifications of electing him. They were fully on board w the racism that has permeated their lives and to some extent afforded privilege to their lives simply for being White.

As I keep saying, the American electorate has been the least-informed and most politically-unsophisticated group of voters in all of recorded history. Their idiocy is almost indescribable in its breadth and scope. They voted to destroy American democracy.
