I joined social media late, first FB, then 🐦. One's now turned into neighbourhood gossip, the other into the hellside people always joked it was. I became nostalgic as I started to read this. 🐦 peaked high, then fell lower.

After yesterday's terrible decision & appalling scenes in the European Parliament, I sent an email to the head of the European Conservatives EPP, Manfred Weber. His group's vote with the far-right (not for the first time), made all this possible:

Today, conservative & far-right MEPs voted together in favour of a law that allows families with children to be detained indefinitely in camps outside the EU & European jurisdiction, even though they haven’t committed any crime.
I hate this time & their hate. We need humanity back. #NotInMyName
While he loves to think so, Musk is by no means unique. Throughout time, there's always been a 'richest person', many with wealth beyond need or merit. Often stolen or inherited, then ruthlessly multiplied & defended. Few have been willing to share. But then, few people are.
