April evening views from the Hidden Beach on the Howth Peninsula. The Seacon shipping group vessel Golden Banyon and Stena Line passing by Kish Lighthouse and some beautiful sunset colours and fluffy clouds.

Sunset pinks from Howth Harbour on this day 2020.
Had a lovely time wandering around the Irish National Stud & Gardens in Tully, Co. Kildare recently. From the Japanese Gardens to St. Fiachra’s Garden, the grounds are bursting with color and nature.

The Fairy Tree in Knockbridge, Co. Louth sits on an elevated site guarding an ancient passage tomb believed to be over 5,000 years old. The tree itself is a Scot’s Pine and is a lot younger - somewhere between 200 and 300 years old.

Where the fields meet the peaks:
A beautiful view of a wheat field on the Cooley Peninsula with the silhouettes of the Mourne Mountains in the distance.
Fly me to the moon ✈️🌕
On this day back in 2024, I captured Flight DHL K4281 (Boeing 777-F) cruising past an 89.4% waxing gibbous moon. The plane was en route from Los Angeles to Leipzig, Germany, but for a split second, it looked like it was heading straight out of this world.

Winning ways on and off the pitch today for the wee county. Victory over Armagh was followed by a stunning sunset over the Knockbridge Fairy Tree to top off a massive day for Louth.

Some weather shots from last week from Greenore and Carlingford. Pure drama in the sky.

A fab sail today around Carlingford Lough. Lovely to see all the boats from CLYC Killowen out on the water and spotted a few from Carlingford Marina as well.
🎹 Will you go, lassie, go
