15 articles a day: The extent of the Israeli army’s media interference Data obtained by +972 shows that the military censor banned or redacted over 5,000 news reports in 2025, with suppression peaking during Israel’s war with Iran. www.972mag.com/15-articles-...
He's been blowing up boats in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans for a year because he thinks drugs are on them. Over 200 people have been killed and no drugs have been produced.
Another example of how police treat people who hold MPs to account. novaramedia.com/2025/06/12/p... Alleged sexual harassment and brutality in that case. I'm not a vengeful person but hope people continue to cause "annoyance" to Peter Kyle and Alex Davies-Jones for the rest of their days.
Also, use your real name online. What’s the worst that could happen?
It's the same almost any time you spot hypocrisy from centrists or right-wingers in power. We must go beyond "I don't know whether you noticed, but this is hypocrisy" and straight to "what present and future action is this deliberate hypocrisy intended to justify?", then sound the alarm right away.
The late Michael Brooks (of the Majority Report) put it best. "Be kind to individuals, be ruthless to systems" Directing your anger at individual voters is counterproductive and misses the forest for the trees. If Harris lost because of sexist racists, why be angry at Gaza voters at all?
Can we please, please never, ever do this again anywhere? We need to advocate hard for no absolution for either of the anti-democratic war criminal sides, show solidarity with the resistance committees and demand of our governments that democracy is the only acceptable way forward.
Really unforgivable this, whether we are doing it for trade relations with the gulf, US empire, or the convenience of working with elites and centralised power structures.
I wrote a piece a few years ago as a sort of primer that tries to historicize and contextualize the current counterrevolutionary war in Sudan. It’s basic and is meant to give folks who haven’t been following closely a sense of what and why it is happening.
As someone tired with coverage of Sudan lamenting the lack of reporting while being itself surface-level and occasional, this is much more comprehensive and *explains* much more, while still easily accessible for the uninitiated. Well worth your time.
