Wanted to record this, got all set up and did it, only to realize I forgot to hit record... I will caveat by saying that it's much less stressful in solo-mode... but yeah, I dropped the ball in the quarter finals, and I totally could have won this thing 😆
I still can’t believe this is all CSS and a couple of divs in the browser. And that it runs so smooth on my phone. I just love the top view - including that transition. And the way those fireballs just come hurdling towards you.
@syntax.fm need a loser bracket next year so people can try to redeem themselves 😅
Made my new default template use the index.pen.html file name and am rocking minimal mode, and it's exactly what I want. Now I just need pen.new to use that 😅
CSS is DOOMed! I've build DOOM in CSS and every wall, floor, barrel, and imp is a div, positioned in 3D space using CSS transforms. cssdoom.wtf Try it out! But... not every browser can handle it. This is taking the browser to its limit. Chrome has some issues. Safari too. Bugs will be filed.
