When Trump went to war with Iran, I watched every speech anyone in the administration gave and made a chart of every reason given for going to war
"Eliminate ballistic capability" was the #1 reason given: more even than preventing Iran from getting a nuclear weapon
Trump endorses Iran having ballistic missiles: "I'm saying that if other countries have them, it's a little unfair for them not to have some"

Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet looked like he had a smooth path to the governorship just a little while ago. Now, his allies are trying to dislodge Attorney General Phil Weiser with an expensive ad campaign ahead of this month's Democratic primary—and Weiser is firing back.
Great piece from @snipy.bsky.social on at Public Notice on Trump's new indictments in Minnesota, and a helluva kicker:
"The bottom line is that Minnesotans refused to buckle, even in the face of literally murderous violence. And we’ll do it all over again if we have to"
A strange headline: It was the news outlet that sponsored the poll that chose not to "kill" it, not McMorrow.
The poll apparently spelled McMorrow's name wrong and also said another candidate supported "Social Security for All" instead of "Medicare for All."

Who's going to the parade on Thursday?
There's a lot to watch on this busy primary night!
• Does Trump's endorsement make the difference in an unexpectedly competitive GOP runoff for Alabama's open Senate seat?
• How does a last-minute sexting scandal impact Trump's chosen candidate in Oklahoma?
• Who will lead the nation's capital?
The art of the deal
Just say, "It's a disaster" and stop there

So maddening that this is what passes for a "very influential Democratic insider."
A properly drafted amendment would prevent state courts from reviewing nearly all challenges to a new map. Yes, it really is that simple. www.politico.com/newsletters/...

His primary opponent's bumper sticker: "Weiser for governor. Bennet for Senate."
“It’s a disaster, but it’s probably a necessary disaster,” Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy said, referring to President Trump’s tentative new Iran peace deal.
