This map shows the rate of abortion in New York State among residents of each state, 1971-1972.
When travel was the major cost for securing abortion in another state, distance and abortion rate were negatively related. That's reflected in the colors being lighter as you get farther from NY.
I've said this before, but there are few lies more disconnected from reality but gospel on the right than the "paid agitator" bullshit. And because it's gospel on the right it almost never gets questioned in the media.
