Jane Yolen’s books meant a lot to me. The world is richer because she lived, and poorer now that she’s gone.

Jane Yolen was an absolutely lovely human and also an almost absurdly talented writer. It's wonderful when both things are wrapped up in the same person. I considered her a friend and a colleague, and I will miss her. Condolences to the each of the many of us who knew her. Her memory is a blessing.

Lymphoma in her intestines they think. More tests. Prednisone is not stopping the vomiting more fluids and antiemetics today. I can’t afford this in any way shape or form. Buy some knitting patterns?
