Castle Doctrine. She took advantage of a natural disaster to try and trespass into my client's home and Dorothy had no duty to retreat in her own home. Kansas supports a robust Castle Doctrine and as the altercation happened before she stepped outside, for legal purposes she was residing there.
I deeply hate the "birth rate decrease" fearmongering thing because it's usually used as justification for rancid anti-abortion, anti birth control, and anti sex ed bullshit. Like, a big reason the birth rate has "decreased" is that teen pregnancies have also decreased. Which is good.
We could do the same "provocative" kind of nonsense with pretty much anything because correlation isn't causation. This just distracts from all the actual issues around body autonomy and the real causes of people having fewer children. Such as the world being on fire.
I edit a lot of different writers all of them highly skilled and no two wield the blade the same way. They're like lightsabers basically

Last couple of years, my landscapes have gotten rather abstracted. Negative space built up instead of figuring out the positive. Smashed together an earlier painting with a photo of a tree I took in the winter and wanting to figure it out.

Hilariously it's actually even dumber than that, and it's SO unworkable it's genuinely insane.
Their counter-solution is to make money up to the income cap, and then fire everyone and not make money in the second half of the year.
It is not a serious concept, but they give them space to talk.
