As an immunocompromised actor not in LA, YES. We were so close a few years ago, but many doors opened by lockdown are closed again. I'm struggling to book as much.
There are extra steps on both the studio & talent side, but the industry has the means to accommodate EVERYONE. they just don't want to

Remote recording should be universal for gigs that don't require PCAP. It expands talent pools beyond hubs & allows immunocompromised folks to safely work. It absolutely comes with extra hurdles, but all anyone is asking for is the chance to try out, not be walled off by "in-studio only" mandates.
