Kwaidan won!!! I realized we can do this in two nights. This Saturday we can watch the first two stories, and next Saturday we can watch the last two stories, since it's an anthology horror film #HorrorWatch
Any educated notions on how they got her eyes THAT intensely gold?
I don't know that I've seen an eye effect that good before, and wondering if someone lovingly and painstakingly hand painted the film frames 🤔

Those kids were obviously having bunches of fun! They really weren't selling being beaten with switches

I do truly love how "hospitality to strangers" is deeply woven into the myths and legends of so many cultures. (I'd love it even more if we all tried to live up to that, of course)
