Every now & then folks in the hobby get weird about airbrushes, like there is some sort of purity to brush only.
As someone who almost exclusively uses them to get a main colour onto the mini that's otherwise not available in rattlecan, I find it bewildering. Its the base coat, value your time :P
Having one is obviously money dependent, but its just another tool. Airbrush, washes, drybrush go nuts. Use what you have.
Happy 11th Everyone!
Since this is going to be a very Orky edition, I decided to paint an Ork! The only Ork I have, in fact. It was a mad dash to get him done, but I think he turned out really well! Quite proud of him!

Pending the varnish, I'm really happy how Creed turned out, given it's only a simple paintjob of base coat, washes, and highlights.
Thanks to @pantmonger.bsky.social for coming up with this challenge.

Its never just minis. The ever present 'hidden' costs of being a hobby keeno. Replacement paints, nippers, airbrush, cleaning supplies.
Got very little done, but not for lack of trying (just slow).
The white elements and bone claws are done to mid point. Hot pink is down for later orange. Mini about 35% done.
HAPPY ARMAGEDDON DAY WARHAM NERDS!

As an aside I never posted my minis spares here after doing that audit and saying I would, as one old acquaintances bought the entire lot off me in one go.
Guess I'm getting a new airbrush :P
