STOP ASKING WOMEN ON THE INTERNET TO START AN ONLYFANS! For the love of god, people! No woman on the internet owes you anything, and they do not owe you access to their body.
Sorry, but I keep seeing women I follow really struggling with getting told that all the time and it's just infuriating.
This makes me soooo happy!
So, for our own mental health, I highly recommend comic book creators kind of keep in touch with what's going on in Hollywood and some of the realities on the ground.
If you think making comics is a rollercoaster ride, wait until you start shopping them around to movie studios and streamers.
My buddy Dan has a new book coming in a couple of weeks. If you've read his Generation Dead series or Break My Heart 1000 Times, you know how great his books are. And if you haven't read them, you should. And then read his new book when it comes out.
It's a working weekend for me, so it's 7:30 AM and I'm already at the desk finishing off some comic book pages while my favorite Japanese carpenter builds cool stuff in the background.

Listen, if you make creator-owned comics and any of them get any amount of attention, you're gonna deal with Hollywood on at least a superficial level at some point, and these days, that means you're going to have some meetings with streamers where your cat will interrupt and show them her butt.
Trying to get some work done on my side project, Destiny Walker, this weekend in-between pages for the not yet announced current project.
This was supposed to be a short story. I'm currently inking page 118. So, that went about as well as usual.
Working on comics tonight with some YouTube videos to keep me company and oh my god, Peter Capaldi is even cooler than I thought, and I already thought he was pretty damn cool.

I've been waiting for this one to hit YouTube so I could share it to everyone.
As someone who has dipped the very tip of one toe into Hollywood a few times over the years, I've always found @patrickhwillems.bsky.social's videos really insightful (and funny), and this is a really fascinating one.
