You know, I wanted to take a break on the generator for a bit, but I kind of also want to see @steveshives.bsky.social rip into ST:Picard.
This would probably fall onto Niantic, which runs the game for the Pokémon company and is behind the geolocation stuff. I suspect that if this blows up, Nintendo/Pokémon Company will disavow any knowledge, and if it's as bad as it looks, Pokémon Go may get taken from Niantic, or go away entirely.
Regarding recent things I see on my timeline, I fall clearly on the
TIFA > FIFA
side of things.
