The bad news: I'm still having pain.
The good news: We finally found pain meds that work. I'm not wishing for death anymore.
I have physio tomorrow to confirm either a slipped disc or sciatica. I need a CT scan, which will be about $3000, & regular therapy, but at least I'm getting some relief.

I am grateful to my @nycplan.org comrades who have spent the past 2 years organizing for a 0.5% budget allocation to NYC Public Libraries. We have come a long way in the past couple of years. 0.5% is now the demand from labor, from the heads of the 3 systems, from some Council members & from patrons
I also have purchased several romance authors in print after listening to their books on audio through libby and hoopla: Alyssa Cole, KJ Charles, Cat Sebastian, and Talia Hibbert are the main ones. If I could get all their books on audio CD, not just digital audio, I would buy those too!
There is no case where ICE should be killing anyone. Under US law, everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Immigration violations are misdemeanors.
I don't care if they are a citizen or not. Extra-judicial killings out of malice are illegal and immoral.
