The most popular tourist attraction in Mallorca, the cathedral in Palma is an undoubtedly impressive piece of architecture, both inside and out.

A photo taken in mid-winter in Berlin shows the remarkable intricacy of some stunning old trees in our nearest park, Forckenbeckplatz.
Make sure to click through to see the full image, as the preview is probably cropped to a small section.

This way a rock could dominate at musical chairs, but actually was part of the David Lynch exhibition at the Pace Gallery at the start of 2026. It showcased a variety of works by the artist who is sadly no longer with us.

It could almost be some cross section of a telescopic view of the sun, but instead is nothing more mundane than an orange carpet in a gallery, the carpet pile scuffed in a wide variety of directions, lending it a widely varied sense of texture and tone.

Captured in Gärten der Welt in Berlin this big bumblebee seems very happy to have found a bountiful number of florets to browse through on this tall Culver's Root flower.

After a bit of hunting around, I think this might be a Black Redstart. Spotted here hanging out on a tiny replica model building in Berlin's Model Park.

This seems like one way a rock could dominate at musical chairs, but in actual fact was part of the David Lynch exhibition at the Pace Gallery in Berlin at the start of 2026 which showcased a variety of works by the artist who is sadly no longer with us. In fact the exhibition opened only a couple of weeks after his death, so I can only assume it was all planned while he was still alive. This piece was only visible through a large glass window and seems quite apt for his sense of humour. Buy Print
A photo taken in mid-winter in Berlin shows the remarkable intricacy of some stunning old trees in our nearest park, Forckenbeckplatz, in Samariterkiez. There was just something about these seemingly interwoven and criss-crossing branches silhouetted against the clear winter sky above, and it looked even better in black and white, letting you focus on the dark shapes and geometries. The most popular tourist attraction in Mallorca, the cathedral in Palma is an undoubtedly impressive piece of architecture, both inside and out. It was under construction from 1229 and took nearly 400 years to complete. I wonder how many generations of stone masons worked on this - it's almost hard to imagine spending your entire life working on something like this knowing that not only will it not be finished before you die, but that perhaps your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and so on will also not see it to completion.
Where the sky is green, and the land lies like ash - dirty white languishing in piles. On the horizon, barely visible, dust devils seem to form.Flecks of white coiling into the air. This photo was part of a series of macro and ultramacro experiments using the artistic creations of Adrianna Snochowska and my macro camerawork. The end goal was to create imagery for the most recent Ebauche album, Nine Times. Buy Print

Captured in Gärten der Welt in Berlin this big bumblebee seems very happy to have found a bountiful number of florets to browse through on this tall Culver's Root flower. The plant is native to eastern United States and south eastern Canada - I guess explaining why I've only come across it in the Gardens of the World. I must say that I'm pretty lucky to be living in a city with no less than four separate botanical gardens! Buy Print

After a bit of hunting around, I think this might be a Black Redstart. At first I was a bit unsure as many of the photos I found showed blacker feathers and clear red colour in the tail feather region, but then I found some other photos of the common European species of this bird and found some more similar examples. As always, please correct me if I'm wrong! The bird is perched upon a teeny tiny replica model building in Berlin's "Model Park". Buy Print
