In an absolute selfish way, I'd prefer slightly before, like 2008, when I still had a stable job, wasn't clinically depressed, and Husband's chronic illnesses still didn't take half of his motor functions away. (I had crippling anxiety, 'tho, but that's the background radiation of my whole life.)

All this talk of AI just confirmed what I'm thinking from basically forever: that how outside my bubble, nobody gives a s**t about art and creativity and those who work in it.
