In an absolute selfish way, I'd prefer slightly before, like 2008, when I still had a stable job, wasn't clinically depressed, and Husband's chronic illnesses still didn't take half of his motor functions away.
(I had crippling anxiety, 'tho, but that's the background radiation of my whole life.)

I think that was the sweet spot. Enough tech to be fun, no LLMs, no Trump presidency, Russian empire not invading its neighbours at that point, no COVID19. Some problems (eg Brexit) but the global oligarch coup wasn't yet in full cry.
