The temperature has been brutal these last few days here on Little Sark (measured 34°C yesterday). We're trying to understand the 16th century star fort and the prehistoric activity under it. Fort construction obliterated most, but there are some nice remnants of the Neolithic.
Hot dry dusty trench. REALLY hot. Fate was teasing us with this 19th Century Gordon's gin bottle base.
It would be hours before we had a cold drink!!

I had so much fun bringing this thing to Sark. We all had a go on it during our break times.
