I felt Mark's post was not a good summary of what the outcome was, but I also found the replies accusing him of doing something fucked up to be odd.
I don't think the outcome, of a skilled journalist leaving the site, is a good one, even if he had actually made a mistake, since mistakes do happen.

Reading comprehension here is at an all time low. Someone reporting on a thing does not validate the thing. It shows the thing is happening and deserves our attention. If you dogpile a reporter/ academic etc you will get blocked and reported. Get therapy and log off permanently.
