I think with daisies in particular, the association for me lies specifically in the bond between Romy and her mother. It might be interesting to use that symbolism in the comic at some point, especially since the poppy flower is such an antagonistic force in SlumberTown lol

I associate daises with Romy and their mom. I mean, their momβs name is Daisy (lol) but they also symbolize purity and innocence. This was a part of Romy their mother really nurtured.
And obviously I associate Janus with poppy flowers. She practices βsleep therapyβ as her particular speciality.
Also Boone trauma dumps a bit so thatβs how you know itβs a good scene. Trauma dumpies for my patient readers~
Yβall will thank me for it later because I think itβs the first heartfelt scene weβve really had between these two, particularly without Romyβs involvement. A rare look at what these two are like together without Romy around. It is a little corny but also a little sweet.

Just spent a 2 hour car ride finalizing the scripts for the Boone/Echo scene. Literally only like 15 pages, five of which I scripted a couple weeks ago. Essentially I just spent like 100 minutes writing 10 pages worth of comic. Yeesh, it can just be like that sometimes! π³
