Love it when cis people who get surgeries stand in solidarity with trans people who have gotten the same surgeries, even if for different reasons. Every time a cis woman who has gotten a mastectomy is supportive of trans people and their decision to do the same, it makes me gooooo
Gosh... I think I will probably will end up re-editing Romy's hoodie colors for Book 2 eventually, and use it as the official design on their ref sheet too. It just looks better with the colored sleeves, man. I'm just too deep into the second book now to go through that process lol. JUST TRUST -
Echo's pants pockets as well. Idk why I didn't reference the original designs closer when I started making the pages LOL. But I'm constantly thinking about how I want Romy to have the colored sleeves again. I'm just too busy with the Book 1 revisions right now. Eventually though. xD
Now that Book 3 is actually not as far on the horizon as it once felt, I’m once again thinking about the superhero and supervillain versions of the trio again. The villains especially, which is something I haven’t given a ton of reconsideration and serious thought about until today. 🤔
The Boone torch could be called Sunburn. And Echo could be the HatBat looool. The vision is taking shape. 🤩
Still haven’t decided on the Romy villain yet but I do think I wanna stay space themed. Maybe some kind of black hole gimmick?
I think if I were to approach it from an inverse situation (like, inverse of the superhero gimmicks), Boone might be something like the Human Torch (elemental and destructive) and Echo’s based off the Hat Man (shadow figure). Trying to think of something for Romy with the astronaut/psychic lean.
Honestly, the corn undies are super fashionable. I would not be embarrassed to be caught in public wearing those bad boys.
