I’d like to highlight one of several interesting results and invite you to read the full publication for more details.
I am delighted and proud to share our new article on the kinematics of the right upper limb in players across various game genres. @AdamToth @MarkCampbell @lero-centre.bsky.social @pesslimerick.bsky.social @logitechgaming.bsky.social ⬇️

Overall, our findings emphasize the differences in physical demands between game genres and highlight the need for tailored interventions in injury prevention, training methods, and product design adaptations.
Feel free to ask me any questions about this research 🙏
FPS players cover more distance than those in other genres, while MOBA players exceed Adventure players. This finding is linked NOT ONLY to mouse sensitivity choices but also to the game's requirements and environment, which shape players' kinematic behaviours.
This figure provides a clear overview of the findings, showing the total distance travelled by the right hand during 10 minutes of gameplay in different genres: FPS (CS:GO, in red), MOBA (League of Legends, in blue), and Adventure (Minecraft, in grey).
