Ten months after Congress voted to rescind federal funds for public media, the former PBS affiliate at Eastern Illinois University will cease its televised broadcasting service today, May 15. I'm as big a soccer fan as anybody - and went to the games at Soldier Field in 94. And I'm not averse to criticizing Rahm, as many of you know well. But FIFA, like the IOC, may be too much trouble - and expense - for even Chicago's famously wily politicians!
