It just seems like the entire liberal political imagination is focused on how and when it can retake the White House to fix everything, and this seems not only foolish but at this point totally detached from reality.
The moment Trump started dismantling green energy, everyone else should have tripled down on it at state levels. He’s set up the country to be even more totally at the whim of the oil market than before, and it’s bizarre his opponents don’t see this as worth exploring outside occasional attack ads.
This is unconscionable. Between the temperature, the ongoing food and energy shortages and the ongoing blockade, attacking water infrastructure is morally and practically tantamount to mass murder. It’s an explicit war crime in international law for a reason.
Before this ridiculous movement, there have been plenty of rigorous researchers looking these: high fructose corn syrup and sweeteners, portion sizes and marketing, preservatives and pesticides, fast food, all of these things. There’s even an entire expertise dedicated to soft drinks. Look to them.
