Last thing to add to this thread: if you want to see more historical accuracy in media TALK ABOUT IT, because many editors/directors think generic art is what sells, so they automatically reject anything when an artist tries to do something different
Bonus pic bc this is the ONLY helmet I vibed with in the entire game, characters looked so good wearing it, for the first time I unchecked the "hide helmet" option 😂

I'm fed up with publishers trying to foist projects on me that involve painting iPhone faces, generic romance covers, and other subgenres that have nothing to do with what I do.
The way these books and young adult audiences are treated is utterly repulsive to me.
