Last thing to add to this thread: if you want to see more historical accuracy in media TALK ABOUT IT, because many editors/directors think generic art is what sells, so they automatically reject anything when an artist tries to do something different

I'm fed up with publishers trying to foist projects on me that involve painting iPhone faces, generic romance covers, and other subgenres that have nothing to do with what I do.
The way these books and young adult audiences are treated is utterly repulsive to me.
