I wish people who aren't from DC would drop this messaging line that the National Guard are all standing around doing nothing playing on their phones weeding our flower beds. The National Guard presence is not benign and each Guard member is complicit at this point.

I get that DC news on some level will never care about obscure parts of Fairfax County, but last night’s storms out here were severe enough that it literally looks like tornado or hurricane damage in a couple areas, and it’s all over local social media, yet I see nothing except on FFXnow.
