Technically I finished the book (skimmed a LOT) but the protagonist grew crops indoors, inside a house, deep in caves. Not mushrooms, things that need LIGHT and WATER. THERE WAS IVY GROWING IN A HUGE DEEP CAVE with no sunlight!
I find it really frustrating that "in person" is being floated as THE fix for EVERYTHING. No, moving a meeting "in person" will not magically make it go faster, or be more focused. There are real ways to make that happen but just knee jerk "in person" isn't actually one of them.
This may sound like gatekeeping, and perhaps it is; however, I strongly believe that THERAPY is only done with a human therapist, with informed consent, and all of the traditional parameters of being in therapy. Talking to a friend, using a chatbot, etc, while therapeutic, aren't therapy!
Peace tonight to all who are worried. I won’t promise everything will be okay, because everything’s already not okay. But I do promise that the bad thing won’t happen just because you didn’t worry about it enough. Here’s a small box. Put it in there. Close the lid. And sleep. ~365 Days of Peace
Great article, whether based in Clare or anywhere else.
