Let me tell you why people are burned out on CIHR peer review. I say this as someone who reviewed for a long time recently and who received multiple recognitions for doing so. BEING ON ZOOM FOR THREE DAYS SOUL SUCKING AND MISERABLE.
My dad and I talk in both Polish and English, in a pretty interchangeable way. But no matter the topic if the context is Poland somehow we talk in Polish. So if we talk about mowing our lawn it could be in Polish or English unless the lawn happens to be in Poland, in which case we use Polish.
