They always blame feminists, but toxic workplace culture was enabled by the housewife family model and the men who were allowed to give not one whit about what their kids were up to and what families need. Returning to those gender roles is not going to fix the problem.
Writing and sending more personal letters makes things better. You help the mail service AND get to let people know you care about them in a way they can hold onto. (Also fun stamps and washing tape to close envelopes helps so much)

Right. It's a hell of a thing to say our reps "can only do so much" while they enjoy sweet salaries, premium healthcare, and all sorts of perks on our dime. Pushing for impeachment just involves making speeches and striking deals with colleagues—in other words, exactly what we pay them for.
A lot of the American economy before the rise of PE/VC systematization was “we are making so much money that we can leave a bit of it on the table to make customers feel good.” It worked! The view now is that leaving even a single penny on the table is the greatest sin a company can commit.

In an AI-native world, human attention is a scarce resource. As @davidfowl.com pointed out, coding agents make software faster to produce, but they also make code harder to review, debug, and trust when the context disappears.
