I gave up mowing the lawn a seven years ago, it never looked that good anyway and now look at it 😊
A visit to Sunbiggin Tarn today where the wetlands on limestone produce a great range of wildflowers. Northern marsh orchid, Birdseye primrose, ragged robin and bog bean amongst the many flowers seen there today.
Some new signage on the Coast to Coast near Sunbiggin Tarn. #fingerpostfriday

Sunbiggin Tarn and a nice new sign for the Coast to Coast walk.

Foxgloves and a bee, taken yesterday above Boon Crag, Coniston.
A beautiful spider lily that came into bloom in our garden today. Such a shame it looks set to be pounded by heavy rain tomorrow.
A beautiful new visitor to our bird feeders today. Usually a shy bird, this one was just four feet from our living room window.
More pictures from yesterday, above Boon Crag, Coniston.
