A beautiful new visitor to our bird feeders today. Usually a shy bird, this one was just four feet from our living room window.
A beautiful spider lily that came into bloom in our garden today. Such a shame it looks set to be pounded by heavy rain tomorrow.
This evenings view across the garden, taken between the very aggressive showers. The rose hedge is starting to obscure the view of the lake, so once the flowering is over I will try to lower it a little.
