Really enjoyed this TT with the Orlanth Rex Round Table - how to negotiate those knotty settings and topics in RPGs …. Hope you find it interesting too.
I had a lovely time discussing my problem with Bladerunner RPG and listening to the rest of the panel's problematic settings. Thanks Steve for the invitation to take part.
I may be biased but think this is worth listening to.

I think the most insightful thing said. amongst other insightful things, was by @davepaters.bsky.social when he suggests finding a group that is interested in exploring that specific setting, warts and all.
I ran a game at Rolling in the Ruins hosted by @breakfastruins.bsky.social set in the intersecting planes of Corum’s world (with @burnafterrunning.bsky.social playing.)
I realised at the finale as everything they had collected on their travels was thrown at the big boss: “This is the Time Bandits!”

Sad to hear David Hockney has died, an incredible draftsman and painter. I loved his observational drawings best of all.
New pod!
The Ice Schooner Part Two, in which @milesreidlobatto.bsky.social and I find that our hero Konrad Arflane is still a dick, and beat around several bushes, including the novelisation of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Richard Widmark & flamethrowers, and comparative experiences of angiograms
