Map editor of "ANAMNESIS" in RPGMaker MZ vs how it appears in-game. Editor mapping plus a screen tint, subtle lighting and a fog effect that mimics cloud shadows.

Sorta like this! I'm still messing with the sweetspot for the scale of it.
The more I work on this, the more I love #godotengine more and more. I'm using nav agents and tiles to get Idyll to Crono around the battlefield and find his targets.
I'm gonna play some Overwatched with loved ones so I'll complete the actual attack, return to origin, and other cool stuff later!
RPG Maker Web closing down breaks my heart.

Idyll's default attack is actually pretty wide. Use enemy positioning to your advantage for most other skills, too.

Asymmetry in #pixelart is sometimes tough but super worth it.
I didn't like the perspective of the previous movement-while-wielding battle sprites so I redid them real quick while I work on battle pathfinding for the hero when an enemy is selected. I like how the armor turned out too.
