I'm curious why positioning-heavy action games (some aspects of Mina/AngEra/Castlevania/shmups/classic arcade) tend to be framed more as "janky/unfair", while memorization/animation-reaction types (mega man zero, souls, hollow knight) tend to be perceived as "tough but fair"
