The Japanese emperor and empress have arrived in the Netherlands to stay in palace Het Loo with the Dutch king and queen for a state visit and, more importantly, to watch tonight's football match Japan - NL together. I love that.
Historic: the Dutch Greens and Social Democrats have officially fused into a new party, Progressief Nederland (Progressive Netherlands). Members voted overwhelmingly in favor of the fusion, creating a broad left-wing, culturally progressive and green bloc in our political field 🍀
