While it is a sort of tough read they are fantastic books that touch on toxic masculinity and a need for change while having some of the most beautifully written lines about the game itself. Also probably some of my favorite character writing but that’s a different story entirely
I posted something similar and then went to go find people that also loved this series so much. There’s so many parts of it that I haven’t stopped thinking about since I read it over 2 years ago
This is my reminder to everyone interested in Hockey books to read Fredrick Backman’s Beartown trilogy.
