Honestly the least offensive part of this is that they actually went to the White House and the fact that that’s the point these guys (and all the people defending everything that happened) are hanging onto shows how much we’re missing the point lol
This is my reminder to everyone interested in Hockey books to read Fredrick Backman’s Beartown trilogy.
While it is a sort of tough read they are fantastic books that touch on toxic masculinity and a need for change while having some of the most beautifully written lines about the game itself.
Also probably some of my favorite character writing but that’s a different story entirely
