The Citroën RE-2 was an experimental light helicopter, developed by French car manufacturer Citroën in 1975. Unfortunately for it, due to the lack of a sufficiently reliable cooling system, it was never certified. © Citroën héritage
The Leduc "0.10", the first ramjet-powered aircraft, pictured here in 1946, being prepared for its maiden tethered flight (tethered to its carrier aircraft "Languedoc"). Construction began between 1937 & 1938, but it did not take to the skies until much later due to the WWII.
