poor wording but I (re)found the bird at the site in Feb and then read an article last weekend about a female along the W coast. Got a response yesterday that this was a known bird but since I had no knowledge prior to seeing it - I will count it as a self find - my best yet!
Last weekend, I emailed @birdlifemalta.bsky.social about this presumed fem. Moussier's I had found after seeing an article that one was on the West Coast of the mainland - Turns out the bird I had was there earlier this winter
Very chuffed with the find!

A well late post but the mystery redstart from Malta had been ID'd by a majority as Moussier's Redstart on X. Very well chuffed with the find as the only redstart I'd wanted was Black Redstart but cannot complain!
