It's time I just had a talk with you. Here's what's happening with me in my photography world at the moment.

9pm and discovering stairwells in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo — I live for these scenes. I look forward to showing you Japan a little bit differently. 🇯🇵

𝚃𝚘𝚔𝚢𝚘 𝚃𝚛𝚒𝚙𝚝𝚢𝚌𝚑 — Very seldom do I leave the house w/o a camera. Today, I went to a photo gallery show in Roppongi and it didn’t disappoint. When I was done ooogling at all the lovely images, I went for a walk up & over to Azabujuban. The back streets offered up a few gems. #photographersonbluesky
I've been shooting a lot less b&w film these days. I was raised on the stuff, but it came in handy about six years ago. So therapeutic at that time. Now I know what it does for and to me and I reach for it at specific times in my life. Sometimes it's a breath of fresh air. #believeinfilm #film
In Japan, train photographers are called toritetsu (撮り鉄), which combines the word for "take a picture" (撮り) and "railway" (鉄). It is a specific subculture under the broader umbrella of railway enthusiasts, known as densha otaku (電車オタク). I’m none of these, but I fancy a train photo here and there.
Thanks, DL!
Last night I went back to Oimachi after a year. I noticed a few disgruntled faces as I walked by some of the aged izakayas. Photographers aren't as welcomed as they used to be, apparently. Here's a video I created last year. A new one is on the way. #YouTube #Tokyo
