I like the long shots. I think long/wide shots can show a bit of context for the โstoryโ. My story is that theyโre taking a much needed smoke break. The area is packed with izakayas and other eateries, so maybe theyโre getting a bit of quiet time, too. #photographersunited #photographersonbluesky
In Japan, train photographers are called toritetsu (ๆฎใ้), which combines the word for "take a picture" (ๆฎใ) and "railway" (้). It is a specific subculture under the broader umbrella of railway enthusiasts, known as densha otaku (้ป่ปใชใฟใฏ). Iโm none of these, but I fancy a train photo here and there.
๐๐๐๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ โ Very seldom do I leave the house w/o a camera. Today, I went to a photo gallery show in Roppongi and it didnโt disappoint. When I was done ooogling at all the lovely images, I went for a walk up & over to Azabujuban. The back streets offered up a few gems. #photographersonbluesky
Last night I went back to Oimachi after a year. I noticed a few disgruntled faces as I walked by some of the aged izakayas. Photographers aren't as welcomed as they used to be, apparently. Here's a video I created last year. A new one is on the way. #YouTube #Tokyo

I've been shooting a lot less b&w film these days. I was raised on the stuff, but it came in handy about six years ago. So therapeutic at that time. Now I know what it does for and to me and I reach for it at specific times in my life. Sometimes it's a breath of fresh air. #believeinfilm #film
9pm and discovering stairwells in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo โ I live for these scenes. I look forward to showing you Japan a little bit differently. ๐ฏ๐ต

Kyoto is a special place, and I absolutely love visiting Pontocho because of its tiny passageways. And deep within one is Tanuki Shrine ๅไบๅคงๆ็ฅ(็ธใ็ฅใ็ฅ็คพ). I needed to photograph it my own way. #photographersunited #urbanphotography #lowlight #photographersonbluesky #FineArtPhotography #FilmAtmosphere
