Scars they do have. & Rider has scars created by intend, both from his own SH, & the diamond scar in his hand from a very hard to describe experience.
Not gonna be on much today, but I was thinking again about the meaning behind expressions of affection.
For most of my MCs, a kiss is more than an expression of affection, it's a promise.
Kisses are so naturally given from parent to child, because that promise is a natural part of the relationship.
Melody, who hasn’t been away from home much, thinks travel is inherently transformative; Guy isn’t so sure. (Oh yeah, she meets a guy named Guy, here he is, and how that name is pronounced is up to you! Tough decisions…) 🪷 From my spec fic, ResortWIP.

This is so hard to choose, because I've written a lot of irreverent characters.
Lawcket is pretty irreverent in his own way, but he also develops a belief in a good creator.
I'm too tired to figure out who to award, but this made me think of this moment of Rider's.
