When Democrats retake the majority, there will be a lot of priorities. As long as I'm in the Senate, one of those priorities will be consequences and accountability for any member of this administration that commits war crimes.

This may be one of those cases where the right legal result protects unsavory people. In the long run, and especially in the current political environment, I can see this actually being a useful bulwark against efforts to restrict gender-affirming care.
