The NBA making the Nets pay the Knicks $4.8 million for violating the Knicks' territorial rights on Long Island when they entered the NBA was pretty harsh. The Nets then having to pay the Knicks ANOTHER $4 million to move from Uniondale, NY to New Jersey was downright dirty.
